GEX pillars
Dealer gamma exposure drawn on the price chart as bars at their strikes — what the options do and how to read them.
GEX pillars draw dealer gamma exposure straight onto the price chart: a horizontal bar at each strike's price, sized by its exposure, with an optional zero-gamma line where cumulative exposure changes sign. They refresh every five minutes during the session. New to GEX? Read What is GEX? and The gamma flip point.
Options
Under GEX pillars in a chart's settings (or in the defaults for every chart):
| Group | Options |
|---|---|
| Book | Expirations — 0DTE only or All expirations; View — GEX $, Delta adj. or Both; Strikes drawn — Total, Both (pos + neg), Positive only or Negative only; Top strikes — 3, 5, 10 or 20 |
| Drawing | Bar length — Balanced or Proportional; profile scale; opacity; value labels; the zero-gamma line |
| Colours | Singularity, Red / Green, Protanopia, Tritanopia, or custom positive, negative and control-node colours |
On the standalone Charts plan the pillars show the lighter view — today's expiry, top three strikes — and the Book options are hidden; Basic and Pro get the full set.
Pillars pause during replay: the chart says they are not available in replay rather than showing today's exposure against a past session.
