ITMatrixHQ Terminal
A tour of the ITMatrixHQ Terminal: the views, the header, the command bar, picking symbols, link groups, and how it behaves on a phone.
The ITMatrixHQ Terminal is the full options-analytics workspace. It is for Basic and Pro subscribers; the first time you open it, it asks you to declare your market-data classification (professional or non-professional), which exchanges require.
The views
The left rail lists the views your plan includes, in this order. Collapse menu at the bottom shrinks the rail to icons; Settings sits below the views with your plan badge.

The number keys 1–9 and 0 open the first ten views in the rail, in rail order. See Hotkeys.
The header
- replay — the chip on Matrix, Surface, Charts, Watchlist, Off-Exchange and Workspace starts a session replay. See Replay.
- Alerts bell — your price and matrix-cell alerts, and the ones that have fired (with Clear). Alerts fire while the terminal is open.
- Clock — market time, with its own time-zone picker.
- Account menu — your plan, Settings and Sign out.
The command bar
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) from anywhere. Type a symbol, a view or an action — the box suggests gex NVDA, wl add TSLA, link 2 — and use the arrow keys and Enter to pick. With the box empty, your recent commands lead.
- Symbols set the symbol on the current page, or on the active link group.
- Views open any view, add a Matrix, Surface or Charts panel, or jump straight to a view for a symbol (
<view> · SYM). - Actions include Replay yesterday, Go live, Cycle GEX palette, joining a Link group, popping a panel out, adding or removing a watchlist symbol, exporting your watchlist or loading a setup from a file, and Sign out.
Picking a symbol
Click the ticker on any panel, widget or page header. The Symbol… filter matches ticker prefixes first, then company names, across the symbols ITMatrixHQ covers; you can also type any ticker. Dashboard, Stock and Options Lab each keep their own symbol.
Link groups
Widgets and panels can share a symbol through link groups: eight colours (Cyan, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, Pink, Orange, Red), chosen from the swatches in a symbol dropdown. Change the symbol on one member and every member of that colour follows. Pinned keeps a widget on its own symbol. Only the symbol syncs.
On a phone
The bottom bar holds Dashboard, Matrix, Charts and Settings, with More for the other views; turned sideways it becomes a rail on the left. Panels show one to three columns per screen — swipe between screens and tap + to add one. The replay bar sits above the navigation, and Charts has a focus mode that hides the header. Popouts are desktop-only.
