GEX matrix
Read and tune the GEX grid — strikes by expirations, heat and profile layouts, display units, expiry windows, markers, cell alerts and colour-blind palettes.
The Matrix view shows dealer gamma exposure as a grid: one panel per symbol, several side by side. The same grid is available as the GEX Grid widget in the Workspace. New to GEX? Start with What is GEX? and Reading the GEX grid.
Reading a panel
- Rows are strikes, highest at the top; columns are expirations. Each column ends in a NET footer.
- The header shows spot, the net change and the percentage change.
- Row marks call out the largest call and put concentrations (CW and PW) and the spot row.
- Colour is heat: the stronger the colour, the larger the exposure. Positive and negative use the two ends of your palette.
Panels on screen sets how many symbols sit side by side — up to two on Basic and six on Pro. recenter re-centres a panel on spot.
The gear menu

| Markers | Control node, walls, high/low and hover markers, each with its own colour. |
The footer has Reset, Apply to all (copy these settings to every panel), Expand, Detach and Remove.
Cell actions
Right-click a cell (long-press on a phone) for:
- Set alert on this cell… — alert when the value Crosses, Rises above or Falls below a level. Cell alerts fire once, while the terminal is open, and appear in the alerts bell.
- Copy value
- Centre on that strike
Palettes
Pick the heat palette in Settings → Appearance, or cycle through them from the command bar with Cycle GEX palette:
- Singularity — the default
- Red / Green
- Protanopia and Tritanopia — tuned for colour-vision deficiencies
- Custom — choose the positive and negative colours yourself
Settings → Data & Cadence → GEX number scale chooses how large numbers print: Auto, Thousands (K) or Millions (M).
