Charts and drawings

The Charts view puts one, two or four price charts on a page. (For a dedicated charting workspace, see ITMatrixHQ Charts.)

The page

• Chart layout — Single, Side by side or Quad.
• Page tabs, and saved layouts you can reapply (it asks before replacing the charts on the page).
• The watchlist toggle docks a watchlist beside the charts.

Each chart

The chart header holds the symbol, the timeframe, Regular hours only, Indicators (a large library), GEX pillars, Off-Exchange levels and Chart settings.

Drawing tools

Trend line, Horizontal line, Zone, Segment, Measure, Fib retracement, Fib extension, Fib time zones, Ray, Parallel channel, Anchored VWAP, Text label, Vertical line, Position (risk/reward), Arrow, Pen and Highlighter.

The drawings menu also has the Quick Wheel slots, drawing sets, an On this chart list of everything drawn, Magnet (snap to prices) and undo/redo.

Hold Q over a chart to open the tool wheel, point at a tool and release to arm it.

Right-click menus

• On a drawing — its settings, Duplicate, Bring to front, Hide, Delete, and Save as default for that tool.
• On an empty part of the chart — Set alert here, Copy price, Show hidden drawings.

Keys

Drawing keys act on the chart under your pointer: Delete or Backspace removes the selected drawing, Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z undo and redo, Ctrl+D duplicates, Alt+T and Alt+H arm the trend line and price level, and Esc puts the drawing down. All but Esc can be rebound in the drawings menu under Keyboard Hotkeys. The full table is on Hotkeys.
