Settings
What each section of terminal Settings controls — account, data classification, appearance and palettes, drawings, number scale, billing and API keys.
Open Settings from the bottom of the left rail or the account menu.
| Section | What you control there |

| Account | Your email, plan and display name. |
| Data Classification | Your market-data classification — professional or non-professional. Exchanges require it before live data and API keys work. |
| Appearance | Theme (Matrix, Dark or Light), motion (System, Reduced or Full), the GEX heat palette, and the focus highlight. |
| Chart drawings | Lock drawings, Magnet, and your saved tool styles. |
| Data & Cadence | GEX number scale — Auto, Thousands (K) or Millions (M) — and importing data saved in this browser by an earlier version. |
| Billing | Your plan, status and renewal; Manage subscription; purchase history; plans; referral codes. |
| API Suite | Create and revoke API keys. A key is shown once, when you create it. |
| Danger Zone | Reset preferences returns every setting to its default. |
API keys and the console
When you create a key in API Suite, copy it — it cannot be shown again. Paste it into the API console on this site to try the API from your browser; the console keeps it in your browser only. A link of the form /api/console#key=…&label=… does the same in one step: the part after # never reaches a server, and the console saves the key and clears it from the address bar straight away.
